After graduating in Dentistry from the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid (2002—2008), Dr. Tafalla deepened his training with several expert and master's degrees in Periodontics, Oral Implantology and Oral Surgery, most notably those carried out at the Gingiva Clinic, the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of Santiago de Compostela.
For more than 15 years he has been working with complex clinical approaches, focusing his work on immediate load implantology, periodontal regeneration, functional aesthetics, oral rehabilitation and advanced orthodontics topdoctors.es. His passion for sharing knowledge led him to be a guest teacher at URJC, USC and in undergraduate and postgraduate training between 2007 and 2013.
He currently serves as Medical Director of the International Dental Institute, with headquarters in Alicante and Elche, leading a team of specialists and developing more than 500 implants per year.
He is also an active professional reference: he was President of the Spanish Federation of Dental Students (ANEO), Member of the General Council of Dentists, President of ANDA (National Association of Autonomous Dentists), and is part of the scientific committee of the journal Maxillaris.
Author of articles in journals such as Dental Gazette And of Italian Journal of Operative Dentistry, has also participated in multiple national and international conferences, addressing issues such as peri-implantitis and advanced healing techniques.
In practice, it combines cutting-edge technology—3D scanning, guided surgery, PRP—with a human and close approach. His professional philosophy is summarized in his motto: “Success doesn't happen by chance”.
