Fixed rehabilitation in atrophic maxilla with autologous bone augmentation

Rehabilitation of atrophic jaws using autologous bone grafts, sequential protocol with biomaterials and implants.

Dr. Constantino Colmenero

Fixed rehabilitation in partially toothless patients with severe bone atrophy represents a complex clinical challenge, both in the surgical and prosthetic fields. In the present case, a three-dimensional reconstruction of the atrophic maxilla was carried out using autologous bone grafts obtained in the intraoral cavity. The approach was carried out under a sequential protocol that integrated the use of biocompatible materials, such as resorbable collagen membranes, and then the placement of implants next to Multi Fix pillars.
